About the Road Department
The Atwater Township Road Department is responsible for maintaining approximately 30 miles of township roads. Our crew works year-round to ensure safe travel for all residents. From snow plowing in winter to road repairs in summer, we are committed to keeping our roads in the best possible condition.

Snow Removal Policy
During winter weather events, the Road Department focuses on clearing main routes first, then secondary roads. Please allow time for crews to clear all roads safely.

- Keep vehicles off roadways during snow events when possible
- Do not pile snow in the roadway
- Keep mailboxes clear for postal delivery
- Be patient - crews work around the clock during major storms
