The Atwater Township Board of Trustees consists of three elected officials who serve four-year terms. The Board is responsible for the administration of township government, including roads, fire protection, zoning, and other public services. The Fiscal Officer is also elected and manages the township's financial affairs.

The Board of Trustees meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Township Hall (1219 OH-183, Atwater, OH 44201). All meetings are open to the public.
