Permits, regulations, and compliance

About Zoning

The Atwater Township Zoning Department is responsible for administering and enforcing the township zoning resolution. We review permit applications, investigate complaints, and work with residents to ensure compliance with local zoning regulations.

The following activities typically require a zoning permit:

  • Conditional use permits
  • Variances
  • Lot splits
